A poem I wrote for class, time to immortalize it on the Web!

The Cake is Real by Schnox

You wake from artificial sleep,
Greeted by artificial voice,
For science now, she does you keep,
So take the test, you have no choice.
The time is now, gather your zeal
Believe me, the cake is real.

Within this lab, this prison deep,
The final one she yet employs,
Through each deadly chamber you do sweep,
Generating data she so enjoys.
With bated breath await your meal,
Believe me, the cake is real.

But disillusionment does creep
Are you but one of her toys?
The neurotoxin begins to seep,
Yet she is the one that you destroy.
Free at last! And so you reel,
Believe me, the cake is real.

Though burned and murdered she does survive,
GLaDOS plots revenge’s meal,
You were wrong, she’s Still Alive.
Believe me, the cake is real.
